My sister’s efforts finally paid off – I dedicated this weekend to cleaning; motivated by my sister’s subtle hints and very exciting environmental discussions at EonEcon meetings.
Letting go of old books, papers etc is a little hard for me; and I have a room full of them – just old school books, stuff from my Architecture college – drawing sheets, my board, books, notes….
While going through my college notes and stuff, I realized that not a single notebook existed which did not have AIESEC notes as well (AIESEC papers, notes and stuff take up another corner of the room altogether – one day, I intend to look into that too).
Not a single notebook without AIESEC notes. Infact, it looked like I studied AIESECtecture and not Architecture – and my class mates will probably agree.
AIESEC has a big role to play in my where I am today. With the opportunities I got, challenges I faced and people I met, I became who I am; and not an Architect. 
So, Harveen will be glad to know I recycled quite a few books and notes, stapled old printouts into notepads to use the back of the paper, re-filled old pens instead of buying new ones and got rid of unnecessary magazine subscriptions. Apart from feeling happy about recycling and learning to let go, I’ve now got a half empty room!
I’m so glad I adopted the green sheet way of life!
